One of the best ways to make sure your house stays cool in summer is to keep the sun out. But when the temperature rises, let the hot air go out. Use heat blocking curtains (or heavy curtains) and keep them closed when the sun rises or temperature increases.
Take a hot water bottle and keep it in the freezer to create a bed friendly ice pack. Use it to provide you cold comfort.
Human genitals have more sweat glands. It causes sweating and it’ll stay trapped within your clothes. So avoid wearing undergarments this summer, particularly when you have to sleep.
Keep your sheets in the freezer for a few minutes before going to bed. We recommend placing them in a plastic bag first unless you want the smell of tomatoes and capsicums. This method won’t keep you cool all night, but it’ll surely keep you cool for some hours.

Opt for loose cotton shirt or clothes, through which air can pass easily. It’ll keep you cool in hot summer days.
Rooms can get pretty suffocating if there’s a lot of stuff in it. Create your own ventilation, by pacing a fan across a window or door, so that a cross breeze is created by the wind outside and the fan. You can also use multiple fans, for super cool airflow.

Hot air rises, so prefer sleeping close to the ground. If you are living in a one storey home, then put your mattress on the floor. If you live in a multistorey house, then sleep on the ground floor or in the basement instead of an upper floor.
Well, the Egyptian definitely knows how to keep things cool. They had a technique, where sleeping with a slightly wet sheet instead of blankets can keep you cool and fresh on sultry summer nights.
