She articulated the Arvind Kejriwal-led government's commitment to implementing integrated corridors, constructing three double-decker flyovers in collaboration with DMRC, and adding eight new flyovers by the conclusion of the fiscal year 2024-25. Atishi further disclosed the Aam Aadmi Party government's ambitious plan to lay down 1,000 kilometres of road in the villages of the Capital and address safety concerns by eliminating dark spots across the city.
Atishi Announces Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana
In a significant move, the Delhi government has earmarked Rs 2,000 crore for the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana' to support the welfare and empowerment of women starting from the financial year 2024-25. Under this initiative, women aged 18 and above will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 1,000. To qualify for this scheme, a woman must be a registered voter in Delhi, not be availing benefits from any other government programme, and should not be an income-tax payer, as outlined by Atishi, as per the video posted by ANI.

The Delhi government has allocated a substantial Rs 8,685 crore for the health sector, marking a significant investment in the city's healthcare system. Delhi Metro Gets Rs 500 Crore In Budget 2024
The Delhi government has allocated Rs 500 crore for the Delhi Metro, recognising its growing importance in the city's transportation network. Finance Minister Atishi emphasised the surging popularity of the service, noting that daily commuters have risen to over 60 lakh, a substantial increase from 24 lakh in 2014.
Delhi Budget 2024 For Education Sector
In a notable commitment to education, the Delhi Government has designated Rs 16,396 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25.
