On November 9, Deepika Padukone posted a small video hinting that she has been brewing something new and exciting. The video said, “It’s time to look East.” Today, November 10, the actor shared another video announcing a new launch.

Padukone has launched a modern self-care brand 82°E. “Our brand is inspired by the standard meridian that runs longitudinally through India and shapes our relationship with the rest of the world,” read the caption.
The actor clarified that the brand would be pronounced as eighty-two east. The caption also said that the mission of this new venture is to make self-care a joyful, simple, and effective part of everyday routine. The actor signed as the co-founder of 82°E.

In 2019, the Indian Institute of Science launched a start-up called Bellatrix Aerospace. It had received funding of ₹21 crores, and Padukone was among one of the primary investors.
If you have been noticing, you would know that the field of Edtech has been experiencing a boom in the last few years. Padukone was the lead investor in FrontRow, a platform that offers students to take classes in creative fields. Most of these classes are taught by celebrities in the fields of cricket, music, comedy, and more.
The actor made a sound investment of $3.2 million. It seems like she has the right people advising her where to invest money in addition to having a sound head for investing herself.

People in Delhi-NCR might have heard about BluSmart, a brand that claims to offer affordable electric taxis. It has partnerships with other companies in the infrastructure, automotive and energy spaces.
A Times Of India report said Padukone (Ranveer Singh expresses love for Deepika) was among the first few investors on board with this brand.
In 2017, Padukone set up KA Enterprises LLP along with Nitin Kanchan. In the next 18 months, she made other investments into the e-commerce beauty brand website Purplle. The actor had also invested in Furlenco, a furniture rental platform.

Reports suggest Padukone had invested in Drum Foods International Pvt. Ltd. It is known as the maker of the flavoured yoghurt brand, Epigamia. The actor also ended up endorsing the brand.
Apart from investments, Padukone is also the brand ambassador of several big names in the fashion world, including Levi’s, Louis Vuitton, Adidas, Axis Bank, and Cartier.
