Cannes 2023: These Four Content Creators Will Debut At The Red Carpet

It is that time of the year again! Cannes, an invitation-only festival held every year in May at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès will begin today. This year is big for all of us since a lot of our favourite celebrities will make it to the Cannes red carpet. Bollywood celebs like Anushka Sharma, Vijay Varma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chillar, Aishwarya Rai, and Anurag Kashyap will reportedly be gracing the Cannes red carpet this year.

Among the list of attendees from India are some popular content creators too. According to a video shared by Brut. India on their Instagram handle, four talented content creators have received an exclusive invite to the prestigious Cannes Festival. In the video, Dolly Singh, Niharika NM, Beer Biceps, and Ruhee Dosani will debut at the Cannes film festival this year.

Dolly Singh

A popular content creator on Instagram and YouTube, Dolly Singh rose to fame with her funny videos where she played 'Raju Ki Mummy'. Initially, she also did a lot of fashion content where she did shopping videos, and clothing hack videos among others. Singh soon became an internet sensation. She also bagged movies like Modern Love: Mumbai, Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, and Double XL.

Niharika NM

She is a Los Angeles-based Indian-origin content creator who has millions of followers across the world. Niharika NM is loved for her witty and relatable videos on social media channels.

BeerBiceps

Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known by her social handle ID BeerBiceps dons many hats. He is a social media influencer, entrepreneur, YouTuber, and motivational speaker and also runs a podcast show, 'The Ranveer Show'.

Ruhee Dosani

Dosani was a digital content creator who became quite popular during the lockdown. She started sharing videos of her dancing to peppy Bollywood numbers with her foreign friends. The Punjabi girl living abroad soon won hearts and today is one of the most popular content creators across the world.

About Cannes 2023

Cannes Film Festival this year will begin on May 16 and conclude on May 27. This year, the Indian pavilion at the festival will highlight India's culture and heritage. The theme revolves around Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge. It will showcase India's creative economy to the world. Last year, the theme for the pavilion was 'India - the content hub of the world' where Indian cinema across cultural, linguistic, and regional diversities will be showcased.

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan will be leading the Indian delegation at the Cannes festival this year. As per reports, the Tamil Nadu based minister will be seen carrying a 'veshti' and a shirt featuring the tricolour logo on his shirt.

Anurag Kashyap's ‘Kennedy’, Kanu Behl's Agra, and Manipuri filmmaker Aribam Syam Shsarm's 1990 film ‘Ishanou’ will be the Indian films screened at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
