With natural developments taking place every day, we are very certain of them taking place in our bodies every day. But when it comes to celebrities, why has the general public become hypocritical? It’s totally common when the same changes happen to us or within our bodies, but it is a shame for the celebrities just because they have a separate life of glam in front of the camera. With time, many celebrities have been shamed for various reasons, here are some!
Evelyn Sharma For Breastfeeding
Actress Evelyn Sharma, a popular face from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, took it to her Instagram account to share an update on her 2-month old daughter, Ava Bhindi. While the picture was a daily update on Ava being breastfed, it created a buzz in the comment section and Evelyn Sharma received a severe backlash.
On seeing this, she responded to her audience by quoting “Such images show vulnerability and strength at the same time. I find it beautiful. Breastfeeding is one of the most natural and healthy things to do. And it really is why women have breasts in the first place. So why be shy about it?” to The Hindustan Times.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan For Her Postpartum Weight Gain
Welcoming Aaradhya Bachchan in November 2011, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, like any other mother, put on some weight during the postpartum process. For the viewers, this was something that was completely not acceptable and that’s when the trolls started barging in through her door.
When Rajeev Masand from CNN asked her about being body shamed for her post-pregnancy weight, Aishwarya replied, “It’s not just been post motherhood. Contextually, post motherhood, you are referring to specifically body shaming. Because you are looking at it from that aspect of the body frame changing. I am talking about the reason I was able to handle it because I have faced judgment for so long.”
Aishwarya went on to say, “It makes me smile how in a lot of articles they have the written words say ‘Oh! She has the fairy tale life’. Yes, I have had a lot of blessings and I am very very grateful for that. But how do you assume? How and what basis do you assume? This again brings that down to judgment. Because of the way you choose to look at something, you decide its cakewalk.”

Sunny Leone For Surrogacy
With Sunny Leone opting for adoption before she could go through IVF (surrogate), it created a buzz in the media and public.
While naturally birthing a child may have been a difficult process for the couple, the general public took it as an affair to be in their hands, calling it a defense mechanism to keep her body in an intact shape as it is.
She pointed out that in India, she tried to go for IVF but could not conceive. She shared that that phase was heartbreaking for her and she felt like a failure at times.
Kareena Kapoor Khan For Postpartum Weight Gain
In an Instagram live with Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan admitted that when she looked in the mirror, she often wondered if she was going to be okay. “Being an actor, there is a part of you–it is not vanity, it is about wanting to feel, ‘Okay fine, I am fit and I can be back again on my toes,’" she said. She admitted that unlike her first pregnancy with Taimur, which was relatively easier and gave her the courage to have another child, her second pregnancy was very difficult. She added that during the first 10 to 15 days after Jeh’s birth, she was delirious owing to the lack of sleep and would often sit in the bathroom and have periods of self-doubt. She stresses that the most important thing post the birth of a child is that there should be equal focus on the mother too, and that’s where the father comes in.
With a lot of stress on herself, Kareena Kapoor Khan had faced a backlash on gaining weight after her first pregnancy. For as easy as it is for people not living in the eyes of the camera, this is certainly something that brought a lot of trolling her way!

Lisa Haydon On Breastfeeding
Actor-model Lisa Haydon was harassed with abusive and sexually coloured comments for sharing a photograph of herself as she breastfed her son Zack last year.
Lisa, who gave birth to Zack last year, told IANS, "I certainly felt uncomfortable at times when I was asked if I was still breastfeeding my baby and it had only been four months. Some people told me I am not a cow, my baby should not feed off me and there were many things that made me feel uncomfortable to do it, not so much ashamed.”
Trolls truly break somebody’s stigma. While a mother is already trying to settle in, trolls put a toll on them, even if they are B-Town celebrities!
