Bigg Boss 16: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia Wants To Inspire People & Fight For The Truth

In an exclusive interview Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia opened up about battling anxiety and excitement before entering Bigg Boss 16 house.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia was the first contestant who entered the Bigg Boss 16 house on October 1. She became a household name with Choti Sardarni, and as soon as she entered the house, she became the captain.

She has been handling her duties well. However, before she entered the Bigg Boss house and cut all the ties with the outside world, she spoke to ETimes TV and shared how excited she was to embark on this new journey.

She agreed that there will be challenges, but she would deal with them all as Bigg Boss is a huge platform which comes with several opportunities.

Excitement Before Bigg Boss

Ahluwalia opened up about her entering the Bigg Boss 16 house and said it would be a lifetime of experience. The actor said she was looking forward to embracing each day on the reality TV show and performing her best.

She also spoke about the controversies that the show often creates. She believes that when people throw themselves in uncomfortable situations, they emerge stronger than before.

The actor added that Bigg Boss would offer her a platform to reach a wider audience and make her voice audible. Ahluwalia said she has struggled with anxiety and dealt with mental health problems, and she has been unabashedly vocal about it all.

She also believes that when people get an opportunity to reach a larger number of people and speak their minds, they must take it up. She thinks that Bigg Boss would give her a place to show the audience who she really is, beyond an actor in Choti Sardarni.

Judgement For Actions In Bigg Boss

When she was asked about people judging and trolling on social media for what contestants say or do on Bigg Boss, Ahluwalia said she would love everything that comes her way. She takes it as a boon to be in front of the camera 24*7 and give a peek into her real personality. She wants the audience to love her for authenticity.

In the past, she had been vocal about battling with mental health and body image issues, she wants the audience to see her human side - a person with good, bad and ugly aspects.

Ahluwalia wishes to be original in front of the audience and make a difference. She added, “Even in my little capacity, if I can inspire the youth of this country, men, women, boys and girls, everyone, who is watching the show, I will think I have done my bit.”

Fights In Bigg Boss

Bigg Boss often breaks the internet with fighting scenes and cruel war of words between contestants. Ahluwalia opened up on the subject and said she would go to anything lengths to stick to an ideology, which she believes is right.
