Bigg Boss 16 Highlights: Abdu Loses Captaincy, Archana Gets Evicted After Tiff With Shiv

Making history in Bigg Boss 16, Abdu Rozik is the only captain who hasn’t been fired by the master of the house after a week. However, his chance to retain captaincy went to vain as Bigg Boss announced a gold mining task that is being monitored by the appointed task coordinator Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.

In tonight’s episode, supporters of Abdu's captaincy accused the task coordinator of harbouring a bias against him. Priyanka did her best to defend herself but to no avail. Shiv Thakare, who wanted Abdu to retain captaincy, instigated Priyanka by insinuating that she was perhaps scared of Abdu.

Disappointed at the lost opportunity to continue being captain, Abdu went to the captain's room and began moving his luggage to his original room. While many contestants such as Sajid Khan, Tina Datta, Shalin Bhanot, and Shiv try cheering him up, Abdu indulged in self-appraisal and said, "I'm very happy Bigg Boss not making me fired bro. I'm the best captain in this Bigg Boss house."

After Abdu kisses his captaincy goodbye, a shocking incident quakes the coveted house. A heated exchange between one of the most entertaining housemates Archana Gautam and Shiv goes out of hand. It all began with Tina looking for tissue papers to be kept in the bathroom area for hygiene purposes. She was annoyed with Archana, who had hidden them in the kitchen and her bedroom. Known to be possessive about the kitchen space, Archana faced flak for keeping most of the tissue paper boxes to herself and Shiv intervened in the matter. Not prepared to apologize for usurping the tissue papers, Archana warned him to stay out of the topic. In a shocking move, Shiv made personal remarks and Archana retaliated.

During the argument and in the heat of the moment, the Archana turned violent and choked Thakare while holding him by the throat. Following which, other housemates including Shalin and Nimrit, among others are seen standing against Archana and demanding her eviction from the house in front of the camera.

Bigg Biss left the decision of evicting Archana on Shiv and asked the two to confront each other. Following Shiv's decision, Bigg Boss asked Archana to leave the Bigg Boss house immediately.
