Bigg Boss 14: These Television Actresses Have Been Approached By The Makers This Season

Bigg Boss 13 created history and became one of the most successful seasons of the show. Due to the phenomenal success of the show, the makers decided to extend the season by 5 weeks. This was the first time that a season was extended on public demand. The grand finale of the show finally aired on 15th February 2020. Ever since that, we have been waiting for the next season of the show. Now according to reports, the channel is soon going to announce the next season of Bigg Boss. 

Showamkers have already started contacting celebrities for the next season and a list of celebrities is doing rounds on the net. These celebrities have been approached for the upcoming season. Read on. 

Akanksha Puri 

Television actress Akanksha Puri came into limelight when her ex-boyfriend Paras Chhabra appeared as a contestant on Bigg Boss 13 last season. Akanksha Puri and Paras Chhabra were dating for long before Paras made it to the Bigg Boss house. Akanksha Puri announced her break up with Paras Chhabra after seeing him getting close to Mahira Sharma on the show. Later, it all got ugly between the two as they started speaking about their relationship in public. Talking about Bigg Boss 14 in an interview, Akanksha Puri said, “Right now, it is way too early to talk about a new show or being a part of Bigg Boss 14. Let’s see where life takes."

Surbhi Jyoti 

Surbhi Jyoti rose to fame with her show Qubool Hai and she also joined the Naagin franchise later. She has managed to make a mark in the industry, not just with her acting skills but also because of her sartorial picks. She is a popular Insta celebrity and keeps sharing pictures on her social media handle. She recently talked about the non-payment of celebrities in the industry. She said, "I feel that we should not take advantage of each other's situation and if there is a genuine problem, I would say, don't cut the money, but ask the person to hold and wait for some time, if you think that the person really needs it, at least do partial payments. The situation will get better and this is not the end of the world crisis, none the less, I would say that one shouldn't ask for money until necessary and if it is, the person should make the payments. For instance, I am paying my staff, because that is the least I can do, and they are dependent on this, so it is my responsibility." Shubhangi Atre

Popularly known for her role Angoori on the show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, Shubhangi Atre has been approached for the show this season. However, Shubhangi has not confirmed yet. In an interview, she said that she has declined the offer. However, she did add that she doesn't know if she will be able to give the kind of content that people like to watch on Bigg Boss. She said she doesn't know about the future. We wonder if Shubhangi Atre would change her plans and be on the show this season. 

Earlier, Shilpa Shinde, who was playing the role of Angoori on the show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai made it to Bigg Boss and also managed to win the show.

Chahatt Khanna

Chahat Khanna, who was earlier in news due to her wedding rumours with singer Mika Singh has also been approached for the show. However, Chahat in an interview shared that she isn't someone who can be a part of such shows and has declined the offer. 

Chahat Khanna is best known for her show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain where she played the role of Sakshi Tanwar's younger sister. 

According to a report by PeepingMoon, host of the show, Salman Khan has started shooting for the promo of Bigg Boss 14 at his Panvel farmhouse. Reportedly, the theme of the season this year is 'social distancing' due to the coronavirus outbreak. The contestants would be asked to maintain distance and take all the safety measures inside the Bigg Boss house. 

Bigg Boss 14 is expected to begin from the first week of October. However, this season won't see any extension as the channel is planning for other reality shows like Rising Star, Khatra Khatra Khatra and Dance Deewane.
