Here Is Why Arti Singh Mother Wanted Her Out Of Bigg Boss 13

Arti Singh has had a successful stint in the recently concluded reality show Bigg Boss 13. Making it to the top six, Arti was one of the very few who didn't fear speaking her heart and mind out and exactly knew how to take a stand for herself. In the show, the actress shared some horrifying incidents from her past which left us all teary-eyed.

During a task on the show, Arti had revealed that she faced a rape attempt in her own house when she was 13. She said, “I had a panic attack two and a half months ago. My first panic attack was when I was 13 and I faced panic attacks for one year. People often judge me ‘she must be depressed, maybe some guy left her’. I was depressed but my own servant tried to rape me inside my house when I was 13. I wanted to talk about this and share it with Paras as I feel he is sensitive enough. I told him I can’t sleep alone, even today I need to latch the door before I sleep.”

As soon she made this shocking revelation, people started lauding her for talking about it bravely, however, her family wasn't very comfortable with Arti recalling such traumatic incidents of her life. In fact, Arti's mother was so upset that she didn't eat for 3 days and even asked Krushna to get her out of the show. "Everyone was very worried. My mom didn’t eat for three days and was on phone calls with everyone. She even asked Krushna to get me out of the house as he knows people in the channel. But he said it would mean Arti backing out and it would defeat her in the game", Arti told an entertainment portal.

“Mom was very upset, she said I could have shared the incident in fewer words and not gone into details. I just wanted to share that it happens with almost everyone. I am glad, touchwood, it did not happen. But it was an attempt and I was saved as I jumped,” she added.

Earlier, Krushna Abhishek claimed that Arti may have misremembered the incident while going with the flow of the conversation. During an interaction with an entertainment portal, he revealed that Arti spoke too much in the flow and that there was no such attempt on her. "It was shocking for us too. I have said this before too, but I think Arti in the flow must have said too much. There was no rape attempt on her, it was going to happen but the guy ran away. Aunty told me, an FIR was also registered against him in Lucknow. He fled and we couldn’t trace him. Arti na us emotion mein flow flow mein jyada bol gayi."

Talking about Krushna's reaction, Arti said, "Krushna is my brother. My brother and my mother are upset because I am yet to get married. He did not say it didn’t happen, he said that I said a bit too much inflow. He was of the view that I should have spoken only 3 lines, what was the need for 10 lines. This is a normal reaction of a brother. Do you know how upset my mother was that why did I talk about it when it was over! I told my mom, ‘we also have a responsibility towards the society, there are many kids who do not find the courage to talk about it’.”

She further added, “What Krushna meant was atleast I was safe, nothing happened. For him it is nothing because I was safe. He will want me to cut it short, he wouldn’t want me to talk about it so much. He wasn’t proving me wrong and said it in a protective streak.”
