TV actor and heartthrob, Barun Sobti, and his wife, Pashmeen, were expecting their first child. The couple has become a proud parent of a baby girl and is currently enjoying their initial phase. In a conversation with an entertainment portal, the actor confirmed the news and named their little-munchkin, Sifat. In an interview with a leading news agency, he said, "Yes, the news is right. She was born last Friday (June 28). We have named her Sifat. It feels amazing and can't be described in words."
While we can't stop gushing over their chemistry, and how cute they look together, let's see how and when they fell in love.
Jab They Met
Pashmeen and Barun are school love buds. They were studying in ninth standard when cupid struck them. Pashmeen was one of the popular girls in school and Barun was one of her suitors looking for a chance to get to know her. He used to find excuses to talk to her and also wrote poems to woo her! However, his efforts did not go in vain and they became good friends- like all relationships start!
Distance Makes The Heart Grow Fonder
That’s true! The couple always thought that they are good friends. But when Pashmeen went to Australia for her graduation, they soon realized that how much they each other. But, instead of getting heartbroken, the duo decided to stay in a long distance relationship.
The Wedding Bells
Though it is hard to maintain a long-distance relationship, the couple still did it and that too for 5 years! During one of his visit to Australia, a small incident occurred- when Barun did not like his food and Pashmeen exchanged her dish with his. This made Barun realized that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her and he popped "The Question".
Barun On Being A Father
Speaking of being a father, Barun thinks that he'll be a strict father. The 34-year-old actor was quoted as saying, “I have not thought about what kind of a parent I would be but I think both of us are prepared in our own way. Moreover, I feel nothing can really prepare you for parenthood as you learn along the way when your baby comes and how you bring your child up. We are ready for the surprises that will come along the way (laughs). I am a realistic person so I think I will be a realistic kind of father to my child. Who knows how you handle the situation that you come across after you become a parent. Being a parent is a huge responsibility.”
Many congratulations to Barun and Pashmeen!
