Alia Bhatt has several projects lined up for this year. After the announcement of Brahmastra's release date, the release date for her OTT debut film 'Darlings' is also announced with the teaser.

Alia Bhatt took to instagram to share the teaser of her upcoming film. In the caption, she wrote, "It’s just a tease Darlings. Arriving 5th August

Looking at the teaser, the film seems to be a suspenseful and dark comedy. The cast's performances look promising and will hook you in no time.

Alia Bhatt's OTT Debut

Alia Bhatt will be making her OTT debut with the film Darlings. The film is co-produced by her own production house 'Eternal Sunshine Production' and Gauri Khan's production house 'Red Chillies Entertainment'.

The film starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew in the pivotal role will be released on 5th August, 2022. The film will be streamed on Netflix.

A day before the teaser release, Alia Bhatt had shared a clip revealing very little about the plot. Giving us a hint that the film will be a dark comedy, she announced the teaser release date. She captioned the clip "thoda dark … thoda comedy 🎈 DARLINGS teaser out TOMORROWS"

It's one of the announcements by Alia Bhatt that made the fans excited. She also recently announced her pregnancy with Ranbir Kapoor, which delighted everyone.
