#1: The process of soap making starts by slowly pouring lye into boiling water and stirring it as it makes a clear solution. Make sure to use distilled water. Wear gloves and a mask to avoid the fumes from the lye.
#2: Mix coconut oil, lemon fragrance oil and olive oil together and heat it up. You can heat it up in a microwave or over a stove. The temperature should be approximately 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
#3: Once the lye and the oil mixtures cool down to around a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit, it's time to mix them together. Slowly pour the lye into the oil mixture and keep stirring it by hand for about five minutes.
#4: Once the mixture has cooled down enough, it can then be cut into cubes and placed in moulds so that they can harden. The more saturated fat used in the process, the harder and longer lasting the soap will be.
#5: Let the soap cool for 24-48 hours before using it.
