However, no matter how deeply we clean the strainer, it never looks clean. That’s because the residue of tea leaves and other ingredients gets accumulated over the time, resulting in stained strainer. This may also affect the aroma and flavour and aroma of your tea.

So, when regular cleaning doesn’t help, these 5 effective and easy ways can:

1) Rinse with Warm Water

Rinse the tea strainer/infuser with warm water after each use. This will most likely remove the particles of loose tea and other impurities. A simple step but will surely prevent the buildup of stains and residue.

2) Soak in Vinegar Solution

After you use the strainer/infuser, soak it in a vinegar solution for 15/20 minutes. To make this, mix equal parts of water and white vinegar in a bowl.
