There are days when you just don't want to have a regular food outing at the nearest cafe. You crave for a luxe dining experience with your boo, no? Okay. So, picture this –a fine dine restaurant offering exquisite flavours in an opulent setting, cult classic ghazals flowing in the background, and world-class service, seems like a dream, no?
Well, I headed out for dinner with my partner recently and lived this dream for real. I was at Kebabs & Kurries at WelcomHotel Dwarka recently for dinner and here is my detailed review -
Kebabs & Kurries,Welcomhotel By ITC Hotels, Dwarka - Average Cost For 2
$2000 to ₹5000 (with alcohol)
The Ambience
Kebabs & Kurries restaurant holds an old-world charm. It has a beautiful candle lit alley, oozing out a dreamy vibe. The seating arrangements are thoughtfully done to give each visitor a private space. The decor elements, again, have a classic touch, adding to the overall ambience of the place.
My Experience
Starters
Beetroot tikkis, patties are a hot trend in the food market and I was expecting it to be a usual crisp snack here too. However, Labgeer blew my mind. On speaking with Chef Yashpal Singh, Chef De Cuisine and Chef Bhavya Sharma, Sous Chef, I got to know that it was unlike any other beetroot snack because of its preparation. Fresh beetroot, cardamom, green chillies, and cashew nuts are used to prepare this tender, melt-in-mouth snack. My snack platter also included Pudina Paneer Tikka, a classic and Saboot Tandoor Aloo, jacket potatoes baked in tandoor with raisins, almonds, green chillies.
Drinks
For drinks, I wanted to stick to my classic favourite, a mix of apple and cranberry juice, a refreshing start to my meal.

Main Course
Paneer Khurchan, Dal Bukhara, Subzazar Kofteh were served for the main course with choice of breads (parathas, rotis and naans) along with Tarkari Pulao. Dal Bukhara is a classic with ITC and they never disappoint. On the other hand, Paneer Khurchan and Kofteh were loaded with flavour. I liked the quantity of pulao served with the meal. The curated meal can be booked prior for a minimum of 2 guests if you don't wish to go for the al-carte menu. (Places In Delhi That Offer Gourmet Food On A Budget)
Dessert
For desserts, we were served Shaan-E-Aam, a treat for mango lovers. A beautiful amalgam of pureed mango, fresh chenna, topped with pistachio and almond shavings.
The star of the show was the meetha paan and sada paan served at the end of our meal. I tried the meetha paan and believe me, you would definitely want another one on your visit to the restaurant. Just what you need to cleanse your palate.

Verdict
Overall, I had a luxe dining experience at Kebabs & Kurries and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a luxurious dinner outing. Yes, you pay a higher price for the opulence the place offers, however, it is all worth it.
