Oats chapatis might taste like your regular rotis but they are packed with the goodness of fibre and essential vitamins and minerals. Here is a quick guide to make them at home.
In a blender, add rolled oats and pulse to get a fine powder.
In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, oats powder, salt to taste and some ghee.
Mix all ingredients well.
Keep adding in water as required and knead into a soft dough.
Keep the dough covered for 15 to 20 minutes.
Divide the dough into equal portions.
Start rolling each portion and cook on a non-stick tawa.
You can cook the roti as is or use ghee to fry it a little till the colour changes to golden brown.
Once well cooked, take off flame and serve hot with a curry of choice.
