Try Mumbai's favourite dish using this recipe which will sort out your lunch or dinner, well even evening snack.
Heat oil in a pan and the add ginger and garlic paste and chopped onion and saute.
Add tomatoes and grated coconut once the onion becomes translucent and saute it for few minutes.
Let it all cool after saute and the grind into a paste.
Now again heat oil in the same pan and add the paste into oil and saute it for 2 minutes.
Now add red chilli powder, garam masala, clove-cinnamon powder, turmeric powder, cumin-coriander powder, salt and mix it.
Add water and cook till the mixture starts leaving oil and then transfer it all into a bowl.
Now heat some more oil in the pan and make usal by adding garlic and ginger paste along with hing.
Saute it for a minute and then add soaked & boiled sprouts along with potatoes.
Next, add turmeric powder, garam masala, clove-cinnamon powder, salt and lime juice.
Add water to it and cook it for about 8-10 minutes.
Transfer it in a separate bowl.
Now take a serving bowl and first pour in the usal that we made and then on top pour the gravy.
Now add the onion we chopped and the chidva or farsan and season with chopped coriander.
Serve it with pav and a slice of lemon.
