The ingredients are cooked minimally, maintaining their nutrient content, making the dish highly nutritious.

Ingredients For Bibimbap:

Bibimbap

2 cups rice

1/2 inch ginger grated

1 large carrot chopped

1 large red bell pepper chopped

1 large zucchini chopped

1 cucumber chopped

3 green onions chopped

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chilli paste)

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp sesame seeds

Sliced beef, chicken, or tofu (optional)

Salt to taste

How To Make Bibimbap:

1. First, start cooking the rice for Bibimbap.

2. Wash and cut the vegetables into thin slices. Blanch them in boiling salted water for 1-2 minutes or until they are tender but still crisp. Drain, rinse in cold water and shake off any excess water. Then, season with salt and sesame oil.

3. If using meat, slice it thinly and marinate it in soy sauce, sugar, and vegetable oil for at least 30 minutes.

4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tbsp of oil and cook the meat until it is browned and cooked through.

5. Now we need the sauce for Bibimbap, so first mix gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and sesame seeds in a small bowl. Set it aside.

6. Now, stir-fry the carrots in a small frying pan for two to three minutes or until they begin to become tender, then transfer to a plate. Then add the spinach and cook for about two to three minutes, or until they become soft. Repeat the same procedure for the remaining vegetables. Then finally fry the egg.

7. Drain the cooked rice, then place it in two bowls. Place the meat slices on top of the rice after cutting. Add a chunk of the cooked carrots after that, then the spinach, and other cooked vegetables. Sprinkle the sesame seeds on top. Serve the rice and fried egg with the sauce.

8. Drizzle the sauce over the Bibimbap and serve hot.
