The D-day is inching closer each day. All of us are looking forward to gathering with our family and friends to celebrate the cheer of the season and have an epic time. In the spirit of the holiday season, we have a bunch of cocktail recipes you can say cheers to whether you’re partying the night away or having a grand house party.
Hot Buttered Rum![butter rum]()
Bundle up with this hot and steaming ambrosial cocktail made to perfection with spiced dark rum.
Ingredients:
30-60 ml Dark Rum
1-2 tablespoon Butter
1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
1 tablespoon Honey
A dash of Cinnamon
A dash of Nutmeg
2 Cloves
60-120 ml Water
How to mix:
First make a spiced butter mixture and keep it aside.
Add a mix of piping hot rum and water before you serve.
Top it with cream and sprinkle of nutmeg.

Cherry Grog![cherry grogs]()
This winter-appropriate tipple will keep you warm with its fragrant spicy notes on a freezing evening.
Ingredients:
100 grams of cherries
2 teaspoons of black tea
500 ml of water
Star anise
Cinnamon sticks
30 ml rum
50 grams of sugar
How to mix:
Make a satisfying flavoured tea by mixing together black tea, cranberries, vanilla, dried pineapple, rose petals.
Add tea leaves, cherries (frozen or fresh as per choice), star anise, and cinnamon sticks in a pot and let it simmer.
Once brought to boil, switch the heat off and add 30-60 ml of rum into the grog and add sugar as per taste.
To serve, add cherries in a mug and pour the strained grog on top of it.

Rum Old Fashioned![rum old fashioned]()
Ingredients:
60 ml of Dark Rum
1 teaspoon Allspice Dram
1 teaspoon of Demerara Syrup
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
2 dashes of Orange Bitters
Orange twist to garnish
How to mix:
Take an old fashioned glass and add a large ice cube in it.
Now add the rum, allspice dram, demerara syrup, angostura and orange bitters and stir to get the perfect mix.
Make sure the drink is chilled well before it is served.
To garnish add an orange peel.
