Ingredients

  • 8 spring roll wrappers
  • 1 finely chopped carrot
  • ½ cup finely chopped green beans
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • ½ finely chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 cup soy granules (soaked in hot water and drained)
  • 2 finely chopped spring onion
  • 1 inch grated ginger
  • 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • ½ cup of oil
  • ½ cup of corn flour
  • 2-3 finely chopped green chillies
  • tomato and soy sauce
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • salt to taste

Step

  • Step 1 :

    Start by cooking the flavourful vegetables in a wok. Add 2-3 tablespoons of oil, add spring onions, ginger, garlic, capsicum, and green chillies.

  • Step 2 :

    Cook until the vegetables soften and then add soy granules. Once it is cooked add soy sauce, tomato sauce and ½ teaspoon vinegar.

  • Step 3 :

    Add salt to taste. Turn off the heat and let it cool down in the same wok.

  • Step 4 :

    Take your first spring roll wrap, place it on a flat surface. Put 1 ½ tablespoon of stuffing on one side and start rolling from the corner tightly.

  • Step 5 :

    In a bowl, add corn flour and ¼ cup of water to make a solution. Apply that mixture on the sides to seal them. Make other rolls following the same procedure.

  • Step 6 :

    Take another pan, add oil and deep fry the spring rolls in batches. Serve soya spring rolls fresh with sauce or dips.
