How To Make Bread Tiramisu For Christmas

Use a glass to cut rounds from each slice of the bread to prepare the base for tiramisu. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese with the jaggery (use the amount of jaggery as per your sweetness preference). Now, gradually add milk to the mixture and whisk until it is smooth and creamy. Then, brew a cup of strong coffee and let it cool to room temperature. The coffee will soak into the bread and provide the iconic tiramisu taste. The next step is assembling the Tiramisu. Take the bread roundels and dip them briefly into the cooled coffee. Ensure that they are completely soaked but not too soggy, as this will affect the texture of the tiramisu. Place the coffee-soaked roundels in the serving dish and spread a generous layer of mascarpone mixture over them. Repeat the layering process, until the ingredients fill up the container. Once the layering is complete, dust the top with cocoa powder to add a rich chocolaty flavour to your dessert. Refrigerate the Bread Tiramisu for at least 2-3 hours and let the texture get firm. Serve chilled.
