It is 2020 and most of us have vowed to eat clean. Let's be honest, eating clean is not easy. We get those chocolate cravings atleast once a day and we really don't know how to get over it. Eventually, we end up eating it and break all our rules. Well, on days you get these chocolate cravings, you can have a healthy and delicious chocolate health bar. Yes, chocolate can be healthy too! 

We are here with an easy, chocolate and oatmeal health bar recipe that you can prepare easily at home. You don't need an oven or a microwave to prepare it. Just a few ingredients and your healthy bar is ready. Keep it handy in your bag and munch whenever you feel hungry or get chocolate cravings. You can also have it as a post-workout meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1 cup of dark/milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 2-3 tbsp of honey
  • Coconut oil/ vegetable oil or butter for greasing
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup of walnuts
  • 1 cup almonds
  • Handful of raisins

Step

  1. Step 1:

    Take a baking tray and line it with baking paper. Grease it with coconut oil or butter or any other oil. This will prevent your bar from sticking on the tray.

  2. Step 2:

    In a pan, add peanut butter, chocolate, honey and coconut oil. Cook on medium flame. Mix well.

  3. Step 3:

    Remove from flame and add oats to it. Also add your dry fruits, walnuts, almonds and raisins. Mix all the ingredients well.

  4. Step 4:

    Now pour this mix into your baking tray. You can top the mix with some more dry fruits.

  5. Step 5:

    Refrigerate for 2 hours and let it set. Remove and cut into bars. You can store these health bars in the refrigerator for a week.
