Ingredients

  • 2 cups tofu cubes
  • 1 diced capsicum
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 diced onion
  • 4-5 cloves of finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • ¼ cup corn starch. 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • salt to taste
  • 1 chopped spring onion
  • 2 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar.

Step

  • Step 1 :

    Take a bowl, add tofu cubes, and corn starch. Mix well to coat evenly.

  • Step 2 :

    Place a wok on the stove, add oil and heat it on medium flame.

  • Step 3 :

    Add tofu and cook for a few minutes to form a crust on each side. Take out in a plate once cooked.

  • Step 4 :

    In the same wok, add a little bit more oil and let it heat.

  • Step 5 :

    Add garlic, ginger and cook for about a minute or two.

  • Step 6 :

    Add your vegetables and fry them until they turn translucent.

  • Step 7 :

    Then add ketchup, soy sauce, and vinegar. Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes.

  • Step 8 :

    Add 2-3 tablespoon of corn starch mixed with water and bring mixture to boil.

  • Step 9 :

    Add tofu and gently mix to combine. Toss well to coat the mixture evenly.

  • Step 10 :

    Lastly, add coriander leaves and serve hot.
