Custard Apple Kalakand Recipe

Ingredients:
2 litre milk
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup cardamom, powdered
1 tsp custard apple pulp
1 cup ghee
1/2 cup pistachios
5 - 6 almonds, slivered
Directions: This recipe is quite easy to prepare. First divide the milk in two pans. Then heat one pan till the milk is reduced to half. Similarly bring pour the milk in other pan to a boil. Simmer the heat and add lemon juice. Now, drain the milk in a cotton cloth. Don’t forget to run the cloth under fresh water to remove lemon traces.

You can now add paneer in the other pan when the milk is reduced to half. Add sugar (as per taste) and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add little amount of cardamom powder in custard apple and mix well. Put some ghee in a plate and pour the mixture. Give the final touch, garnish with pistachio and silver foil and let it set for time. Cut into small pieces and serve.
Custard Apple Smoothie

Ingredients:
3/4 cup custard apple pulp
3/4 cup low fat curd
1/8 tsp cinnamon powder
Directions: First remove all the seeds from custard apple. Now, take ¾ cup of the custard apple pulp without the seeds. Add the pulp and curd in a mixer. Add little amount of cinnamon powder (as per taste). Blend this mixture till it gets smoother. Your custard apple smoothie is ready to serve. Serve chilled for best results.
Custard Apple Phirni

1 litre full fat milk
4 tbsp rice flour
4 to 6 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 cups custard apple pulp
Directions: Take ½ cup of cold milk and make a smooth paste by using rice flour. You can now mix this in the remaining milk, add sugar and boil over a medium flame, don’t forget to stir continuously. Simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes till the mixture becomes thick and the rice flour is properly cooked. Cool it down and add the custard apple pulp. Mix well. Chill for 3 to 4 hours. Your delicious custard apple phirni is ready to relish.
