1. Marinara Sauce

Marinara Sauce

Marinara is widely used in Italian-American cuisine. It evolved from a simple tomato sauce and here’s how you can make it.

Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Red chilli flakes
  • Oregano
  • Salt

Recipe:

Put all the ingredients in a pan, then cook it down. The onions don't need to be finely chopped; you can just roughly chop them. The same is true of the garlic cloves. Spend at least 45 minutes letting the sauce simmer. After that, discard the onions and combine the sauce with the crushed garlic cloves. Add a dash of salt and some red chilli flakes and you are good to go.

2. Alfredo Sauce

Alfredo pasta is one of the most popular pasta dishes all around the world. The creamy, rich taste of Alfredo sauce can make the mouth water.

  • Cream cheese
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Whipping Cream
  • Italian seasoning

Recipe:

In a pan, combine butter, whipped cream, and cream cheese. Whisk the mixture until all the ingredients are melted. Once the sauce is smooth, add the seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic, and Italian spice). Add the parmesan cheese. Allow it to simmer until the sauce is thick and ready.

3. Carbonara Cream Sauce

Carbonara Cream Sauce

Creamy carbonara is a quick and easy weeknight dinner that's ready easily. An eggless penne carbonara is tossed with bacon, mushrooms, and parmesan cheese with a creamy sauce.

  • Onion
  • Bacon
  • Parsley
  • Butter
  • Mushrooms
  • Parmesan cheeses
  • Heavy cream

Bring a large pot of water to boil, add a generous amount of salt to the pot and then the pasta. After draining the pasta and setting it aside, save 1⁄4 cup of the cooking water. In the meantime, melt butter and oil in a frying pan over medium heat. When the bacon is crisp and the mushrooms are soft, add the onion, bacon, and other ingredients to the pan and stir-fry for five minutes. Reduce the heat to low, add the cream, the cooked penne pasta, and 1/4 cup of the pasta water that had been set aside. Continue to cook while stirring often until the liquid has thickened into a creamy sauce. After turning off the heat, add a generous amount of parmesan cheese and stir it into the pasta. Parsley and parmesan cheese should be sprinkled on top before serving.
