Ramayana Supporting Cast And Guest Appearances
Arun Govil, the original Ram from Ramanand Sagar's hit TV show ‘Ramayan,’ will portray King Dashrath. Indira Krishnan will play Mata Kaushalya, while Lara Dutta takes on the role of Kaikeyi.
Sheeba Chaddha will portray Manthara, and Kajal Aggarwal has been cast as Mandodari, Ravana's wife. Rakul Preet Singh will essay the role of Ravana's evil sister, Shurpanakha.
Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan is set to make a guest appearance as Jatayu, while Kunal Kapoor has been confirmed to play Indradeva.

Ramayana Movie Budget: India's Most Expensive Film
As per several media reports, ‘Ramayana’ is being made on a budget of Rs 835 crore, making it the most expensive Indian film ever produced. The first part is scheduled to hit theatres on Diwali 2026, followed by the second part on Diwali 2027. Official release dates are expected to be revealed in an upcoming announcement video.
