"Mahavatar Narsimha", an animated mythological epic, continues its impressive box office run as it completes 20 days in the theatre. The film has not only become a huge success but is now on its way to crossing a major milestone.
According to a Sacnilk report, the movie, directed by Ashwin Kumar, collected approximately ₹4.50 crore on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. This steady collection, even on a weekday, is a testament to its strong word-of-mouth and appeal to family audiences. With this latest figure, the film's total India net collection now stands at an estimated ₹185.50 crore. Its performance is particularly noteworthy as it has exceeded several live-action films and is now racing toward the coveted ₹200 crore mark.
According to IMDb, the movie's gist reads, “The demon Hiranyakashyap seeks revenge on Vishnu and declares himself a god. His son Prahlad remains devoted to Vishnu. Vishnu manifests as Narsimha to defeat the demon and restore balance.”
The film features Harjeet Walia in the lead role and Aditya Raj Sharma, Haripriya Matta, Priyanka Bhandari, Sanket Jaiswal, Saanwari Yagnik, Uplaksh Kochhar, Dinesh Verma, Akshay Kaustubh Joshi, Harish Moily, Ajay Singhal, Sankalp Jaiswal, Abhishek Sharma, Dixoan Shah, Shahid Zafar, Rakesh Soni, Ayushi Anand and Anshul Sharma in supporting roles.
