The Femina Miss India 2023 show wrapped up in Manipur, Imphal, in all its grandeur. This was the 59th edition of the country’s most sought-after pageant and was held at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak, Imphal, Manipur which became the warmest host city for the signature event. It saw the victory of not just the newly crowned Femina Miss India 2023 Nandini Gupta but also of the runners up, Delhi’s Shreya Poonja (first runner-up) and Manipur’s Strela Thounaojam Luwang (second runner-up) respectively.

Shreya Poonja, the first runner-up of the Femina Miss India 2023 is born and raised in Delhi. She holds a graduate degree in economics and is now pursuing her higher education in finance. She is a trained dancer in a variety of styles, such as Kathak, Jazz, and Contemporary. She is also an avid sportsperson and practices swimming, taekwondo, and skating.
She previously won the national pageant Campus Princess 2019 when she was 19 years old. Post her graduation she started working as an actor and model and has been associated with a bunch of renowned campaigns and television commercials and she also walked the ramp for designers like Manish Malhotra, Raghavendra Rathore, and Neeta Lulla.
Her motto in life is to create a happy and remarkable life for herself and for her loved ones. Also, she defines her personality as being courageous, compassionate and creative.

All About Strela Thounaojam Luwang, Second Runner Up Femina Miss India 2023

Strela Thounaojam Luwang was born and brought up in the northeastern state of Manipur. She is a student of international business studies and her goal in life is to encourage a 'Child-friendly' education system. Strela was diagnosed with epilepsy at a very young age due to stress and anxiety induced by bullying. Hence, according to her, issues of mental health concerning gender equality hold a special place that is very close to her heart. She is a front runner when it comes to addressing mental health issues because of this reason.
