Many of us stop dreaming and cry over what we haven't achieved yet. But this inspiring story of 94-year-old Harbhajan Kaur is proof that we should never give up and that there is no specific age to do something particular in life. Like they say, when there is a will there is a way.
Hailing from Chandigarh, Harbhajan Kaur sells delicious home-made ‘besan ki barfi' via her own brand – ‘Harbhajans’. It was her daughter who supported her and encouraged her. Speaking to a leading media house, she said: "She expressed one day that she has not earned a single penny from her own and her words struck my heart a lot. She is so talented and we never went to eat outside, not even a bar of chocolate as she cooks really well. Our childhood memories are related to ‘besan ki barfi’ and that’s why I encouraged her to make them and sell them as well.”
This story inspired many and it went viral on social media. Business tycoon Anand Mahindra himself shared her story on his official Twitter account.
When you hear the word ‘start-up’ it brings to mind images of millennials in Silicon Valley or Bengaluru trying to build billion dollar ‘unicorns.’ From now on let’s also include a 94 yr old woman who doesn’t think it’s too late to do a start-up. She’s my entrepreneur of the year https://t.co/N75BxK18z4

Entrepreneur indeed !
One user wrote: "Startups aren’t just passion anymore. They are a way to fulfill a long-lasting desire. Desire to shine. Desire to create individuality. Desire to build a platform. And after all, age is just a number While another said that Harbhajan is a "living proof that there is no age limit to chase our dreams and fulfill it... true inspiration. Love her determination to live her life doing what she loves."
A user named Bugs shared: "This is a celebration of who we are as a country. As a people. Why don’t we unite and celebrate and adopt her creative, can do spirit. We are not on this earth forever. Let’s use that time well. Not the way we are using it now. Politics is the death of humanity."
Will make sure to have this barfi when I'm in Chandigarh next
