We Are Short Of 'Tareefan' For Kareena As She Walks In This Black Tube Gown

From Aditi Rao Hydari to Diana Penty, the grand finale night of Lakme Fashion Week saw a number of Bollywood celebrities walking the ramp. However, the celeb who stole the show was showstopper Kareena Kapoor Khan! What a gorgeous end to the fashion week this year. Kareena literally owned the ramp as she walked for Shantanu and Nikhil yesterday. Kareena is usually the showstopper for the grand finale at this fashion week. This time Shantanu and Nikhil were lucky to have Bebo as their showstopper. 

Black Is Bold

Kareena wore a black strapless tube gown with her hair tied in a sleek ponytail.  Her bold red lips completed the look. And not to forget, Bebo’s biggest accessory is her powerful expressions that make everyone love her. She looked breathtaking as she took over the ramp.

The Modern Indian Woman

Shantanu and Nikhil’s collection focused on the emotions which led to the empowerment of the modern Indian woman and Kareena represented it perfectly! Shantanu and Nikhil truly deserve a round of applause for their promising collection this year. About their collection, Nikhil in an interview shared, "We have always followed an anti-trend path and our couture creations stray away from traditional and constructed design notions. We always believe in reinventing and negating gender binaries and it only furthers our eclectic design connotations. We are constantly innovating from our nostalgic past to recreate that with futuristic design representations. This collection has been inspiring for us, even though it arises from our 'India Story', it represents futuristic design connotations." 

On the work front, Kareena has two upcoming film projects, one with her Kambakkht Ishq co-star Akshay Kumar which has been titled Good News and the other one in Karan Johar’s much talked about Takht. She is currently hosting a radio show called What Women Want and people are loving her first radio show like crazy. She was recently badly trolled and called a ‘careless mother’ for raising her son with the help of nannies. On her show, she shared that working women in Bollywood have to face a lot of challenges. She said, “I have to address one thing... recently I got trolled on a photo where I was getting into a private jet… and the trolling was about how apparently, I’m a careless mother who’s letting my kid be brought up by nannies. To you judgmental folks who know nothing about my life, please note that there’s a finger I’m showing you in my mind right now.”
