The Darlings actor strutted out of Carlyle Hotel in full glam and aced the red carpet with all her star power and her heart-melting smile. Bhatt had a true let it reign pearls moment wearing a signature Prabal Gurung Atelier fit custom-made for the occasion.

The Heart Of Stone actor zeroed in on a famous corseted couture ball gown look by Karl Lagerfeld that was worn by Claudia Schiffer as the final Bridal look for Fall 1992 Couture. It had 1,00,000 pearls added as a fitting salute to the genius of Karl Lagerfeld by master couturier Prabal Gurung.

Her OOTN was completed with a pair of pearl encrusted hand embroidered pump heeled shoes by the brand ASAxSko which added the perfect finishing touch.

Alia’s jewels for the day were courtesy jewellery designer Alice Cicolini x Malabar Gold and Diamonds who worked with stylist Anaita Adajania Shroff closely to create the ring stack. They created a modern and fresh interpretation of the classic Karl Lagerfeld dainty bridal look. The knuckle duster added an edgy vibe to the accessories and was created around a large rose cut diamond which was surrounded by a tapered, baguette and round-shaped diamonds and completed with a tassel of pearls. While the other hand has rings that are ever-so-beautiful and hail from an uncut diamond heritage all the same. A cutoff custom-made pair of embellished gloves by Outhouse with mini motifs as Karl liked to show in his embroidery and statement earrings completed the look.

The highlight of Alia’s Met Gala 2023 hair and makeup look was her face itself. It was highlighted by releasing the hair back with a straight and wavy messy look. Since Indian brides always wear flowers in their hair, usually delicate hand strung jasmine buds, pearls and a few spikes were added to her tresses to add the right amount of sweetness to the look. The makeup of the day was kept minimal with the skin looking really romantic with flushed cheeks but also gave it that modern twist with soft messy eyes and nude lips. The brown around the eyes is an ode to Karl’s ubiquitous sunglasses.
