Television actor Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath are officially married now! The couple tied the knot in a traditional Punjabi wedding ceremony on December 12, in Jalandhar. This much loved comedian, who rose to fame with series ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, took to his Instagram handle and shared the wedding pictures with all his fans. While Kapil Sharma wore a green sherwani, Ginni Chatrath looked pretty in a red embroidered lehenga. Some brides can’t ditch the traditional red lehenga on their wedding day. Similarly, Priyanka Chopra wore a red crafty Sabyasachi number on her wedding ceremony, in Jodhpur.
Kapil Sharma went a step higher and broadcasted his marriage ceremony on YouTube channel so his fans can also be a part of this entire process. Isn’t that a good idea? He is seen posing with close friends and family such as Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
In recent videos and pictures going viral on the Internet, Kapil and Ginni are seen posing with Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan. Looks like, this popular singer entertained with some of his rocking numbers.
This duo, who is in a relationship for a long time now, decided to take it further and surprised everybody by announcing their wedding plans. Earlier, pre-wedding ceremonies kicked-off with Ginni’s bangle ceremony and mata ki chowki, on December 10.
Ginni shared a few pictures on her social feed and captioned: “Starting this exciting new phase of my life with blessings of Waheguruji n my loved ones.” She later posted a picture hers, posing in a traditional outfit and wrote: “Feeling gorgeous in my Beautiful Jewellery by #anmoljewellers n outfit by #nidhi_tholia..A Big Hug n Thanks to #kaleereinbykanikakumria for this pretty Decor... Reportedly, the 37-year-old actor will host a grand reception party in Mumbai, on December 24. Kapil Sharma, who hails from Amristsar, featured in several notable television shows such as The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, ‘Comedy Circus’, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6’, ‘Star Ya Rockstar’, ‘Ustaadon Ka Ustaad’ and ‘Chhote Miyan’. He also extended his latent talent and featured in various movies like ‘ABCD 2’, ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ and ‘Firangi’.

Apart from his regular work, he is quite active in social causes, and appeared in a PETA campaign to promote adoption of homeless cats and dogs. That’s not all, he was nominated by Prime Minister Naredra Modi to promote Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
