This Bride Recreated Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor Looks For Her Own Wedding

The year 2018 will hold a special prominence in life of every bride-to-be when it comes to inspirations for their own weddings. The tinsel town witnessed celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Neha Dhupia all tying the knot last year. Different girls have different types of reaction when it comes to marriage. While some are satisfied with whatever their parents choose, others are quite particular about how they want their big day to be like. Mesmerised by newly-married Bollywood actress, a bride, named Anusha, replicated two most iconic looks of B-town brides-- Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor-- for her own wedding. Like most of you out there, who yearn to become the brides that Deepika and Sonam were, Anusha’s recreation of their wedding outfits left many awestruck in amazement!

Anusha Dons Sonam Kapoor For Her Mehandi

For her sangeet and mehendi, Anusha wore an ivory Chikankari lehenga with hints of gold to match the gorgeous Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation that Sonam Kapoor donned for her mehendi. Taking all the inspiration that she could, Anusha paired her look with a statement choker to let her outfit do the talking. Not only this, Anusha also braided her hair in a similar fashion with gajra to look completely like Sonam. The breathtaking lehenga wore by Sonam for her mehandi was made of Swarovski and intricate gold and off-white thread work.

Deepika Padukone Look For Wedding

Anusha who is a model, artist and influencer opted for a slightly more different look for her wedding. She chose to pick elements from Deepika Padukone's look from the Sindhi wedding. With the maang tikka and the elaborate eye make-up, Anusha made for such a pretty bride. She even posted side-by-side images to make the fact apparent to the world.

For her wedding reception, Anusha, along with her husband grabbed eyeball as they styled themselves quite similar to how Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had looked at their star-studded Mumbai reception.

Like Deepika, Anusha chose a heavily embellished mettalic gown in red hues. The couple made sure they not only recreated this iconic look, but also got photographs in similar poses as #DeepVeer.

Talking to Indian wedding planning portal WedMeGood, Anusha revealed, "Like every other bride, we wanted (actually I wanted) to have the perfect wedding, the one that leaves everyone awestruck. You know, the kinds that become the talking point of the town. The last year has been all about celeb weddings, and like every soon-to-be bride, I keenly observed each one of our celebrity bride's looks, ready with my notepad, jotting down every detail that I loved and could imagine incorporating in my own wedding."
