Lakme Fashion Week 2019: Athiya Shetty Sashays The Ramp In Monochrome Saree

The ever-gorgeous and new girl on the block, Athiya Shetty turned showstopper for the designer duo Abraham and Thakore at Lakme Fashion Week winter 2019. Their collection for the fashion gala day 2 was in lieu of celebrating Sustainable Fashion Day and they decided to honour the iconic Indian garment, the 'kurta' with the use of sustainable and environmentally responsible viscose fibre, Lenzing EcoVero.

The Hero actress looked every bit stunning in a monochromatic frilled saree, made of viscose fabric. She paired the saree with a collared blouse that also featured white and black stripes. With wavy hair, striking makeup and an outfit to die for, Athiya made her way on the fashion runway and left us gasping for breath. "I really like what I'm wearing. It's so comfortable. The whole idea behind the collection being showcased is really inspiring", the actress told a media house. 

Athiya styled her ensemble with statement long earrings and black-feather adorned slip-ons.

For the opening ceremony, Athiya sizzled in a sheer white embroidered Indian outfit. Her jaw-dropping ethnic look was completed with pearl earrings, sleek ponytail, and kohl-rimmed eyes. She truly looked killing.

Athiya made her debut with Nikkhil Advani's 'Hero' with Sooraj Pancholi and later was seen in Anees Bazmee's rom-com 'Mubarakan' starring Arjun Kapoor. The actress will be seen next on the big screen in debutant director Deba Mitra Hasan's rom-com Motichoor Chaknachoor, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
