Year Ender 2022: Hindi Movies & Web Series That Ruled OTT Platforms

Monica, O My Darling is a recent crime thriller that the Indian audience has been waiting for a long time. Huma Qureshi, Rajkummar Rao, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Radhika Apte played their part well in the Netflix movie.

Jamtara season two was a huge hit. It is about two cousins who along with their dropout friends ran a phishing scam. They called people from a remote village, Jamtara, Jharkhand. However, things got tricky when police got involved in it, and the scam became news. It is available on Netflix.

Aranyak has a political plot in which Raveena Tandon played the cop. She is set on a path to find a murderer and every clue unfolds a new story. The Netflix series has a strong cast - Meghna Malik, Ashutosh Rana, Zakir Hussain and Parambrata Chatterjee.

Qala marked Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan’s debut. It is about a woman seeking the love of her mother, who had always desired a son. Music is the only thing that has the capacity to bind them or tear them apart. The cast of the Netflix film includes many names like Triptii Dimri, Sameer Kochhar and Swastika Mukherjee among others.

Saas Bahu Achaar Pvt. Ltd. is a Zee5 series. It is a story of a woman striving to set up her pickle business. She starts her entrepreneurial journey to earn money and get her kids back from her ex-husband. 

Starring Alaya F and Kartik Aryan, Freddy is a recent release on Disney+Hotstar. It is a film that revolves around an awkward and introverted Dr Freddy, who is desperate to find a partner. He finally finds one, but their relationship is not a happily ever after.
