It is located in Har Ki Pauri which is only a few kilometres from Haridwar Railways Station. You can reach there by sharing autos. Here, goddess Maya, believed to be the reincarnation of Maa Shakti, is worshipped.

Shri Maa Chandi Devi Temple

Another famous temple that you can visit on Diwali that lies in Haridwar is Shri Maa Chandi Devi Temple. Situated on a hilltop in Haridwar, you need to do a small trek to reach here. It is only 3.5 km away from Har Ki Pauri. The temple is open between 6 am to 8 pm.
Surkanda Devi Temple

The auspicious Surkanda Devi Temple is located near Dhanaulti hills. Goddess Surkanda is worshipped in this temple which also offers a scenic view. Renowned for its phenomenal architecture, Surkanda Devi Temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peeth all over India. It is situated on the Chamba-Mussoorie Road, Saklana Range.

Dhari Devi Temple

Located between Rudraprayag and Srinagar, Dhari Devi Temple is 14.2 km from Gola Bazaar, Srinagar. This temple is situated on the banks of Alaknanda River where Goddess Dhari Devi is worshipped. The temple has high significance and is very auspicious to visit during Diwali.
