One of the biggest tourist destinations in Shivpuri is the Scindia Chhatris. 3. Padavali Fortress

Padavali Fortress

The Padavali fortress was constructed in the 18th century by the Dholpur Jat Ranas. The fortress of Padavali is home to many ancient temples. The temples are known as mini-Khajuraho because of their elaborate carvings, one of which also features erotic carvings. The temple is covered in carvings on every corner, and mythological and epic artwork graces the ceilings, pillars, and beams.

4. Gopachal Parvat

The Gopachal Parvat, a group of magnificent rock structures, adorn the slope under the Gwalior Fort. Some of the largest and most impressive Jain structures in the world are found here, carved straight out of the rock. Constructed throughout the 7th to 15th centuries, the Gopachal Parvat's over 100 sculptures have withstood several efforts at demolition and cultural elimination due to different ideologies, yet they have persisted.
