With festivals in our near sight, we have a checklist of things to do and get ready for our parties. Children are very picky and judgemental about food. Picking food items for them can be a task. Fruits are a favourite snack for kids and they’ll munch on anything they know about the taste of fruits in them! Here is a simple banana idli recipe you can serve in 30 minutes.
- Take your required amount of sooji/rava and poha and add to water. Rest it to soak.
- While soaking the poha and rava/sooji, put the jaggery in water and heat in another vessel to liquify.
- Mash a ripe banana and add to the batter while adding ghee, cashews, and salt.
- Settle for some time.
- After a while, add it to the molds and leave it to steam for about 15 minutes.
