We grew up watching magnificent castles in various fairytales and always thought "I wish they were real." Well, what if I told you that gorgeous castles like them are for real? Have a look at them!

1 Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany

Neuschwanstein Castle with its towers, turrets, frescoes, and throne hall makes it look like it came straight out of a fairytale story. A surprising thing about this castle is that it was the inspiration behind the 1950 Disney masterpiece Cinderella! The breathtaking castle is therefore often referred to as the “Disney Castle,” the “Sleeping Beauty Castle and the “Cinderella Castle."
