The well-known filmmaker is celebrating the success of his movie, released on July 18, 2025, which is breaking the internet with its high volume of theatre occupancy. Suri’s wife, Udita, has also shared the pictures from their celebration at home, sparking curiosity among people to know more about her.

Who Is Mohit Suri’s Wife Udita Goswami?

Udita is a former model and actor who made her mark in Bollywood in the early 2000s. She entered the industry during a time when newcomers were often typed. Still, she managed to rise with a mix of bold roles and understated presence.

Udita Goswami’s Bollywood Career

Born on February 9, 1984, in Dehradun, Udita started her career as a model. Her sharp features and natural ease in front of the camera earned her popular advertisements like Pepsi and Titan. Afterwards, she got a big break in 2003 and switched to acting. She was first spotted by filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, who offered her a role in the movie ‘Paap’ opposite John Abraham. She also did a series of films, thriller and romantic films, where she played lead roles. In 2005 and 2005, she finally got her commercial hits, ’Zeher’ (2005) opposite Emraan Hashmi and ‘Aksar’ (2006) with Dino Morea, respectively. Her 2012 movie ‘Diary of a Butterfly’ didn’t manage to create an impact. Later on, she drifted away from the limelight and found comfort in family.

Udita Goswami’s Connection With Bhatts

Udita’s marital relationship with Suri also connects her to one of the most influential families of Bollywood—the Bhatts. Suri is the cousin of Alia Bhatt and Emaan Hashmi, which makes Udita their sister-in-law in relation. Although she doesn’t make public appearances often, she shares a close bond with the family members, including Alia.
