These days getting that no-makeup look and experimenting with highlighters is my thing so I have been trying different brands and textures to see what truly suits me. So when I was hunting for a loose highlighter only, I came across the Makeup Revolution Pearl Lights Loose highlighter in Sunset Gold and it looked good with my skin tone in mind. The offer was also very good so I bought it and here is my review of it.
Claims
Makeup Revolution Pearl Lights Loose Highlighter is one beauty creation your vanity has impatiently been waiting for. A loose highlighting powder that is finely milled, this one leaves a glowing and radiant finish. These loose highlighters can be built up and layered for a high-intensity glow or applied softly for a gentle glow from within.
Key Ingredients
Mica, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, May Contain [+/-] CI 77891, CI 77491
Packaging
This highlighter comes in a small tub of 25 gms and a little goes a long way. The bottle is a sturdy transparent plastic bottle with a black cap and has a top like a spice shaker, which helps in controlling the amount needed. The ingredients are written on the bak which is good as some brands do not mention the list which should make you curious anyway.
My Experience
This is a deep gold shade as per the brand but I would call it a bronzer. It is perfect for dark or dusky skin tones and looks beautiful when put with a light hand. The pigmentation is really good so be careful with the application. The colour pay off was beautiful and I totally love it. Many use it directly but I like to mix it in my moisturiser for a natural, subtle glow and then apply all over the face and neck. When going for a party, I brush some on my collar bones and mix in some into my body cream for that overall bronzed look.
Texture/Fragrance
It is a fine powder with no fragrance.
Price
Available at M.R.P of Rs 1000, you can buy this highlighter online and look for different offers on different websites. I bought it just for Rs 450 so it was a good deal.
