Today’s busy lifestyle often refrains people from indulging in a daily skincare routine. However, it is important to take care of the skin to ensure a natural glow. We have come up with a solution for that. Weekends are the perfect time to pamper your skin and prepare it for the week. While you may shorten your skincare regimen for daily use, the weekends give you some extra time to pamper your skin a bit accordingly. We spoke to Ms Yukta Raghu CEO and Co-Founder Of Afforest Green Beauty to share skincare tips for weekends. Read on to learn how you can make the most of your weekends and indulge in a skincare routine.

Deep Cleanse And Exfoliate

By the end of the week, it usually takes a fight against pollution, makeup, and every day of your skin fun. Your weekend self-care routine should start with a deep cleanse of your face using a cleanser that will suit the kind of skin you have. This not only removes stains and particulates that you can’t reach with your regular cleanser but also clarifies your skin complexion. Proceed with an exfoliator (chemical or physical) and blot off all the dead skin cells to enjoy radiant and even skin. Don’t forget to be gentle and also exclude any extremely aggressive scrubbing because it can damage your skin.

Hydration Boost

Weekends are just right for hydration since that is the time we eat more foods that likely contain high water content. Once you have done the ideal cleansing and exfoliation, your skin is more likely to receive hydration. Proceed with a hydrating toner or essence to smoothen the cell-layer skin barrier.

Pamper With Masks

A clay mask can be effective for oily or inflamed skin (summer ingredients for glow), as it aids in the removal of excess oil and small pores. For dry and sensitive skin types, hydrating or soothing masks made with oatmeal or honey will be the best option. Place the mask as it is directed and then relax, and you can enjoy some moments to do self-care. Sheet masks are also very helpful in this respect because they work like a kind of "therapeutic blanket" for your skin.

Moisturise And Nourish

Don’t forget to lock in all the goodness. Take out a moisture cream appropriate for each skin (ways to use coffee for skin) type. A great idea for weekends is to either use your regular moisture-up in dose or do exfoliation to renew the freshness of your skin.
