Do you know, Kansa wand is being used by Ayurvedic practitioners for over 5000 years now? The Kansa wand is made using teak wood and a Kansa metal which is a mix of copper and tin. As per Ayurveda, this metal is believed to be more healing than gold or silver.
Also known as bell metal, kansa was traditionally only used to make glasses and plates. That was because it was believed to have properties to reduce the acidity present in food. However, later, over time, Ayurvedic practitioners realised its benefits for the skin.
Recently, Mira Kapoor took to her YouTube channel and shared a list of her favourite facial tools. Among her list was a kansa wand. In her video post, she shared that she uses the kansa wand on the soles of her feet to balance the excess Pitta. It also helps her promote restful sleep.

Not just for your feet, kansa wand can be beneficial for your face too. Doing a facial massage with a kansa wand regularly can help treat a lot of your skin issues.
Balances Skin's pH Level
Kansa has alkaline properties which help in balancing the skin's pH level. A lot of skin issues like inflammation, acne, wrinkles, premature ageing, and sensitivity occur because of an imbalance in the skin's pH level. Using a kansa wand helps reduce the acid content in the skin and keeps such issues at bay.

Using the kansa wand with the right pressure and in the right direction will help you lift the muscles of your face and enhance the structure of your face. If you wish to achieve a contoured face and jawline, you should use it regularly.
Relaxes Muscles
Using a kansa wand can help you release stress from your facial muscles. It helps release the tension from your muscles and also improves the energy flow. It is a great idea to massage your face with a kansa wand after a long, tiring day.
Improves Skin Complexion
According to a lot of studies, kansa wand increases the blood circulation on the face which helps promote a healthier complexion. Using it regularly will help you improve your skin's glow and complexion.

Depending on how often you use the kansa wand you should be cleaning it to avoid the accumulation of any oils and dirt on it. You can simply clean the wand with a clean tissue after each use or with soap and water. Make sure you use the soap and water only on the metal part of the wand.
