Hyphen's Skincare Range Review

I tried four products from Hyphen’s skincare range. These products were the Ceramides milky toner, Double shot face serum, Cica exosomes oil-free moisturiser and the VIP Jelly Glaze Lip Balm. Hyphen Ceramides Milky Toner Essence With 5% Rice Water Blend

A hydrating, milky toner that combines ceramides for barrier repair and 5% rice water to brighten and deeply moisturise. Prepares skin for serums.

Pros:

• Deeply hydrates and reduces dryness.

• Ceramides support and repair the skin's natural barrier.

• Rice water helps to brighten skin tone and smooth texture.

• Ideal for those with dry or dehydrated skin types.

Cons:

• Not suitable for people who have sensitive or acne-prone skin as the formula is not non-comedogenic. 

• The milky texture might feel heavy for very oily skin types.

Hyphen Double Shot Face Serum

This dual-phase serum that delivers both water-based (hydration) and oil-based (nourishment) actives. Targets glow and overall skin health.

Pros:

• Offers hydration and nourishment in one step for comprehensive care.

• Leaves a visible, healthy glow due to the oil phase.

• Ingredients are kept separate until use, ensuring better potency.

Cons:

• Must be shaken well before application for proper ingredient mixing.
• The oily texture may not be preferred by all users, especially in humid weather.

Hyphen 2% Cica Exosomes Oil-Free Moisturizer

A lightweight, non-greasy moisturiser formulated with 2% Cica Exosomes to soothe irritation, calm redness, and repair damaged, sensitive skin.

Pros:

• Oil-free formula is excellent for oily, acne-prone, and combination skin.

• Cica is highly effective at calming and reducing redness/irritation.

• Lightweight texture absorbs quickly without feeling heavy.

• Suitable for sensitive and compromised skin barriers.

Cons:

• May not provide enough heavy-duty moisture for very dry or mature skin types.

Hyphen VIP Jelly Glaze Lip Balm, 1% Vit E & Peptides

A thick, jelly-like lip balm that provides a high-shine glaze and deep moisture. Contains 1% Vitamin E and Peptides for plumping and repair.

Pros:

• Creates a desirable, high-shine, glazed look like a lip gloss.

• Peptides help to subtly improve lip volume and texture over time.

• Provides long-lasting moisture and barrier protection for chapped lips.

Cons:
