Oily, sticky skin doesn’t really paint a great picture. With monsoon in full swing, humidity often adds to the misery. So just in case you are on a lookout for an easy solution to curb your oily skin issues, astringents can be of great help. Besides removing access oil from your skin, they not only improve its appearance by minimising larger pores but also ward off a variety of bacteria. Going by the regular shopping patterns, investing in chemically loaded astringents seems to be an obvious choice but we suggest indulge in some home remedies, instead.
Given the fact that our skin has a tendency of producing healthy oil, astringents can make your skin really dry and vulnerable to other skin issues. What you need is a skin-friendly product that can help retain the required amount of oil and cut on any access amount. A variety of astringents can be prepared even when at home. Here are a few recipes.
