DIY: Make Your Own Peel-Off Makeup For Smudge-Proof Summer Look

Peel-off makeup is now a thing! Do you hate re-doing your lips and eyebrows again and again? Not anymore, because people are now turning to peel-off makeup that is smudge-free and long-lasting. All thanks to thanks to a new hoard of Korean skincare products entering the market. While there are a variety of products including peel-off foundations and eye shadows available online and in a few retail stores, we are here with a few DIYs that will help you to make a few peel-off make up products at your home. So let us not waste any time and begin learning!

Peel-Off Lip Stain 

Be it office or any random outing, we all want the lipstick to stay for 24 hours. Besides using different types of products, it smudges or cracks. Try homemade peel-off lip stain for a better long-lasting experience. 

Supplies 

• Red food colour
• Aloe vera or a peel-off mask (orange)
• Bowl
• Spatula
• Makeup brush 

Steps 

• Take a small bowl, add one tablespoon of the peel-off mask or aloe Vera pulp. Add 3-5 drops of food colouring. 
• Mix these ingredients well with the help of a spatula. In case you’re using aloe vera pulp mix until the consistency is uniform. 

How to Apply 

• Start by exfoliating your lips using homemade scrub. It will remove any dead skin cells and a smoother surface for application. 
• Using a lipstick brush apply a layer of the mixture to your lips. 
• Do not go out of the line and fill the lip area neatly. 
• Without moving your lips wait for 10 minutes until the mixture dries up. Lastly, peel it off. Apply lip balm if you feel the lips are getting dry. 

Peel-Off Brow Tint

If you are still not well versed or comfortable using eye pencils, try using brow tint. It’s easy to use and doesn’t make your brows look extra. 

Supplies 

• Coffee 
• Aloe Vera pulp or peel of mask
• A clean mascara wand
• Bowl 

Steps 

• Take a small bowl, add one tablespoon coffee powder. Then add the peel-off mask or aloe Vera pulp. 
• Mix these ingredients well with the help of a spoon. Mix for another 2-3 minutes if you’re using aloe vera pulp. 

How To Apply 

• Using clean mascara wand gently brush your eyebrows. This is to make your eyebrows clean and dry before you start tinting. 
• You can also apply Petroleum jelly on the area surrounding the eyebrow so avoid colouring it. 
• Using a makeup brush apply a layer of the mixture to your brows. Fill the lip area neatly. 
• Wait for 10 minutes until the mixture dries up. Lastly, peel it off. 

Peel-Off Tinted Eyeliner

Everyone wants their eyeliner to remain jet black all day long. While most liquid eyeliners do solve this purpose, it also ends up smudging and making you look like you have eye bags. Try tinted eyeliners.

Supplies 

• Activated Charcol 
• Aloe Vera pulp or peel of mask
• Bowl 
• Eyeliner brush

Steps 

• Take a small bowl, add half tablespoon activated charcoal. Add the peel-off mask or aloe Vera pulp. 
• Mix both well using a brush or a spoon. Dissolve all the lump in the mixture. Make it uniform and smooth. 

How To Apply 

• Make sure your eyes are clean and dry before you start tinting. 
• Using an eyeliner brush and apply a very thin layer of the mixture on your eyelids. Be cautious about not putting inside your eyes. 
• Wait for 3-5 minutes until the mixture dries up. Lastly, peel it off.
