The smell or odour of your body makes a lot of difference to your personality personally and even the way you are perceived. Fragrances are proven to be connected with your memories and we remember people by their fragrance. We all want the other person to remember us by a good fragrance right? Antiperspirants are an integral part of dressing up. Now, there are many antiperspirants available in the market but they are not exactly cheap and they also have a lot of chemicals. What if we told you that they can be made at home using natural ingredients? Yes, that is true and here is a simple way of making it.
It is not that you cannot find organic ones in the market but then they are not cheap either. I do have a particular budget for all these things so I prefer making it at home. Here is a simple recipe.
Ingredients
6 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp baking soda
4 tbsp arrowroot powder or cornstarch
50 gms beeswax or shea butter or cocoa butter
8 drops of essential oils like tea tree, or lavender
Method
Meltdown your butter or beeswax with the help of a double boiler.
While melting mix in the coconut oil, cornstarch and baking soda.

Next, add the coconut oil mixture to the melted beeswax and stir occasionally. However, do so with a thin stick.
Keep stirring the mixture to make sure that the baking soda and starch has mixed up properly and then pour them into a mold. Let the bars cool down and then remove them from the mold.
Cleaning Process:
Do NOT pour any wet beeswax down the drain. Just to fill the waxy bowl with boiling hot water and let it melt. Then let the water return to room temperature. Now pour the water in a strainer which will help you in catching the now re-solidified parts of beeswax and toss into the dustbin. Your bowl will have a film but that can be cleaned with soap and hot water.
