Year Ender 2022: 5 Times Deepika Padukone Wowed Us With Her Makeup Choices

Deepika Padukone knows how to rock her beauty ensembles, whether they are modest or extravagant, whether she is attending premieres or promoting her movies. She has experimented with a variety of styles over the years, including graphic winged eyeliner, coloured eyelids, and statement brows. Below are some of the best makeup choices that were donned by her in 2022:

1. Bold Kohl-Rimmed Eyes

Deepika Padukone has inspired a gazillion makeup trends all through the years with her bold eyes. Here, we see her flaunt an earthy eyeshadow with heavily kohl-rimmed eyes. Not only is there a dramatic wing in the mix, but we also see her lower lashline outlined with kohl and black eyeshadow. The eyeliner and long lashes kept her look dramatic and nude lips completed her radiant look.

2. Bold Lipstick

Padukone was also seen in a number of red bold lipsticks this year. In the above picture, she is sporting bold burgundy lipstick. She wore this colour with a latex red bodycon dress from Milo Maria's collection. The colour of the lipstick adds a dash of drama to an otherwise subdued look. The body-hugging midi dress featured a halter neckline with a keyhole cut out at the neck that added to the drama. Padukone paired the dress with matching bright red pumps and short wavy hair.

For this year's Cannes Film Festival day one look, Padukone was spotted wearing a printed Mysore silk shirt from Sabyasachi Art Foundation that had hand-painted antique flowers. She wore it with green wool pleated pants that she fastened at the waist with a Sabyasachi Bengal Trophy belt. For makeup, the actor chose a nude makeup base with classic winged eyeliner with lots of mascara, little blush, and nude brown lipstick. She styled her look with a messy bun and added a head scarf to it. She accessorised her look with a deconstructed Maharani necklace which had diamonds and gemstones. She also added diamond earrings and shimmery golden pumps.

4. Wet-Gelled Hair Look

The wet-glamour look has been popular for a while, and it can be challenging to master it. But Padukone has always nailed this look and her Instagram pictures are proof of it. She wore an elegant golden and black Louis Vuitton gown with extravagant black feather sleeves on the ninth day of the Cannes Film Festival. She added drop earrings and jewellery to her wet-gelled hairstyle. To achieve this makeup look, she started by adding an ultra-dewy base. She also used a liquid highlighter to complete her look.
