Do The Eyes First

- Begin with applying the concealer on the eyelids. Blend it properly with your fingertips. This helps the eyeshadow to be in place and lasts for longer.
- Create a crease with a brown shadow, not too dark, probably 2 tones more than your natural skin tone.
- Next, you need a natural brown shade, a shade up than your natural skin colour on the eyelid, and blend it with the crease line.
- To create a smokey effect, you need to use the same dark brown eyeshadow on the outer corner of the eyes. This helps create a natural smokey effect.
Tip - Matte eyeshadows can do wonders if you wish to achieve the natural makeup look.
Go Matte With The Highlighter
When you see your favourite celebrities on-screen, you never spot those shimmers on their face. Shimmers don't work for TV shoots or day events. Using a highlighter with glitter can highlight the hot spots and then it looks like sweat.

Prep And Prime Base
It is important to prep and prime the base using the primer before applying the foundation so that the skin feels and looks hydrated. MUA Agrika Kalra said, "For a flawless look, we need a good canvas and to prep that you need to moisturise the skin properly. After the regular CTM - cleansing, toning, and moisturising, you need to conceal the under eyes."
Depending on your dark circles or pigmentation, apply the concealer under the eyes or on your lips. Correct and conceal areas that need correction.

Silicon-Based Foundation
Avoid using cream based foundations as they make your face look cakey. It is always better to use silicon-based foundation which is long-lasting. It is very important to pick the right foundation for your skin type.
Cream Contouring
Use the contour by applying it in the shape of a triangle for a more sculpted look.
Seal With Powder
To seal the makeup, you need to apply powder all over your face. This prevents your makeup from transferring.
Powder Contour, Blush And Highlighter
Post sealing your makeup, apply powder contour, blush and highlighter but in very less quantity. Don't go overboard.
Finish off with prep and prime makeup fix which seals the makeup and keeps it in place. This gives your face a very fresh and natural look.
