HZ Tried & Tested: Ashpveda Riwaayat Essentials Skincare Kit Detailed Review

Ever since I decided to take the natural route with my beauty routine, I have come across multiple brands offering products claimed to be loaded with natural goodness. While some products oozed luxury, they hardly showed any results for me. I was constantly looking for products that were high in quality and gave a luxe experience too. Ashpveda’s packaging left me impressed at first, and the list of ingredients too caught my eye. I have been using Ashpveda’s Essentials skin care regime for about a month now and here is my detailed review. 

Claims

The brand claims that all the products in the kit offer both skin and hair nourishment and care.

Essentials of Shikakai & Bhringraj Hair Wash: cleanses the scalp, doesn't strip natural oils, improves hair growth, controls dandruff, and soothes the scalp

Essentials of Shikakai & Bhringraj Hair Conditioner: Improves hair texture, detangles hair, nourishes hair and makes hair more manageable.

Skin Perfect Jasmine & Mogra Body Cream: Smoothes wrinkles, improves skin tone, comes with anti-inflammatory and healing properties.

Sandalwood & Saffron Bathing Soap: Cleans skin dirt, exfoliates and unclogs pores, clears impurities, and whitens skin. 

Enriching Rose Petal Lip Balm: Leaves your skin soft, smooth and moisturised, and protects your lips from turning dark

Packaging 

The packaging screams luxury. Each of the five products in the kit comes beautifully packed in sturdy, beautifully designed bottles and cardboard packages.

My Experience 

I have been using all the products from Ashpveda’s Riwaayat kit for a while now. All the products are loaded with the goodness of natural ingredients, something we beauty addicts crave for. The products smell heavenly. The ‘Shikakai & Bhringraj’ hair wash (Shikakai benefits for hair) and conditioner have transformed my hair. My hair feels softer and healthier. The ‘Jasmine & Mogra’ body cream smells luxurious. It keeps my skin moisturised for long hours. The ‘Sandalwood & Saffron’ Bathing Soap is the star product. The fragrance is as natural and raw as it can get. The Rose Petal Lip Balm softens the lips and keeps dryness at bay, perfect for the transition season. Overall, it’s been a great experience using these skincare goodies from Ashpveda.

Pros

• All the products smell great

Cons

The price point can be a bit of a concern for some. However, for the quality of products you get, it's a great buy.

Verdict

Overall, I enjoyed using these products from the skin and hair kit. They are packed with the goodness of natural ingredients, perfect for anyone who likes to take the ayurvedic route with their skin and hair care routine. Though the products didn't have any side effects for me, I would suggest doing a patch test before using any of these products to avoid any possible allergic reactions.
