Television actor and Bigg Boss 13 finalist Arti Singh is someone who won hearts not just because of her beauty but also for the way she conducted herself on the famous reality television show. Just like other contestants, she was also put in several challenging situations, but the actress made unique identity among all by proving to be a dignified contestant. Arti garnered much love and appreciation for always being upright and for often proving her loyalty towards her friends on the show. Other than this, the actor's flawless skin and shiny hair also caught our eyeballs. So, Hz decided to catch up with her and find out the secret behind her beauty. Luckily, Arti shared some very simple home remedies that she inherited from her mother.
“I swear by besan (gram flour) ka pack as my mother also used to apply this pack regularly. All that is needed to be done is to mix besan and yogurt together in a thick paste. Then apply this directly on the face,” told Arti. Besides this, the 35-year-old star shared a secret ubtan recipe that she uses frequently on her skin. “The best thing to use is besan ka ubtan (scrub). The secret ingredient here is karua tel (mustard oil). First, I nicely blend together gram flour and mustard oil into a thick paste. Then I apply on my face and body to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. This is one of my secret beauty recipes and also best scrub ever,” she said.
Seems like Arti is the queen of home remedies. Apart from her desi ubtan recipe, the actress also gave us an extremely simple technique to prepare a great homemade hair mask. “For my hair, I rely on methi (fenugreek) hair pack. It is very easy to make. All I do is soak fenugreek seeds in a bowl full of water overnight. Next morning, remove the water, then add yogurt and an egg to it. Blend the mixture well and add lemon juice towards the end. I apply this on my hair to keep it silky and detangled,” said Arti. Since she uses all the basic ingredients that are easily found on every kitchen shelf, we now know how she managed to look stunning every time she appeared on our television sets.
Summers are in full swing. Breakouts and pimples are bound to happen besides abiding by a good skincare regime. Stars are no exception to this. Arti, who loves mango, is currently facing a little bit of pimple problems because of her favourite fruit. For the sake of her skin, she believes in avoiding or reducing the quantity of a few food items that leave the skin vulnerable and susceptible to problems.
“Eating raw mango can result in pimples during this hot, humid season, so I kind of avoid it. Besides the fact, that I love eating mango, I take it in small quantities or at times totally avoid it. Though I have normal skin texture taking in this fruit in different forms leads to breakouts. I had delicious aam ras a few days ago and now I have pimples on my face,” revealed the Ex-Bigg Boss contestant.
